Cancellation and Refund Policy

Registrants who cancel 30 days or more in advance of the program start date will be refunded their registration fee less a 25% administrative charge. Registrants who cancel less than 30 days in advance of the program start date will be refunded 50% of their registration fee. There will be no refunds provided for cancellations made on the day of the meeting, or for no-shows. All cancellation requests must be made in writing and sent to the NCIGF. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted nor processed. Refunds will be made in the same payment method as was received.

If NCIGF cancels the program, we will refund the full registration fee to each participant who paid it. In the event of a program cancellation, NCIGF shall promptly notify all registrants by email through the event registration software. NCIGF will notify participants of a program cancellation by email via the event registration software.

If the program is cancelled to due to the occurrence of a force majeure event, NCIGF will reschedule the event and apply the registration fees to your registration. If we are unable to reschedule the event within 12 months of the date of the original date, or if you are unable to attend on the new date, we will refund your registration fee.

A registrant may transfer his or her registration to another person in his or her organization with no additional charge by making a written request to the NCIGF any time prior to the date of the program.

Acknowledgement of Health Risks

COVID-19 is an infectious disease and respiratory virus caused by a coronavirus. Older adults and persons with severe underlying health conditions are at increased risk of more serious illness after contracting COVID-19. If you are at increased risk for severe illness and complications from COVID-19, please consult with your healthcare provider prior to attending the event. While NCIGF staff are committed to your safety, no amount of procedures or planning will make attending this event risk free. 

If you are sick or have been sick in the last 10-days with any COVID-19 symptoms, including but not limited to, fever, cough, or shortness of breath, please do not attend the event. You may contact our Event Coordinator ([email protected]) to discuss a full refund for COVID-19 related illness and cancellation.

Course Update Policy

NCIGF reserves the right to make course changes up to and including the day of the program. If a course change is necessary, we will post the course update on the NCIGF website and/or the event registration page and email registrants with the updated course information.

Complaint Resolution Policy

If you have a complaint about the program or the registration process, please email your written comments to Lynn Cantin at [email protected]. We will do our best to promptly respond and take any remedial action we believe is appropriate.

Photo Release Policy

NCIGF may take photos or videos of attendees during the conference. These photos/videos are for NCIGF use only and may appear on the NCIGF Website, newsletter, conference brochures, NCIGF Instagram page, NCIGF LinkedIn page, and/or other future NCIGF promotional materials. By virtue of your registration and attendance at the event, you agree to the usage of your likeness in such media.
